Hello everyone,
My family and I bought our Success Craft in February 2000 brand new, with
it’s new home now in Cairns in Far Northern Queensland. Our model, “Astra”
is now obsolete and in our first year of ownership, we were brave (idiotic)
enough to endure the Tinaroo Dam winters, taking the boat up as often
as we could with family and friends. We have been up there in almost every
type of conditions, sometimes with around 11 other boats roaring around
a little bay on some of the popular holidays. And, I must say that the
old girl most certainly handled the task easily, and with comfort. The
performance has been nothing short of exceptional with, after 9 years
of ownership no work having to be done on the engine at all, and never
missing a beat, you could say that it’s now part of the family. All in
all, I would definitely buy another Success Craft because of the comfort,
reliability and performance. Feel free to use the attached photos for
your website. Tim Nolan, Cairns (March 2009)

Hi Malcolm,
We bought this boat in October last year second hand. The 350 chev only
had 7 hours on it after being tuned up. (We have done a lot more hours
than that.) At Easter we decided to go to Coolamunda Dam ( Inglewood )
one day we easily pulled 4 single skiers out and ran solidly every day.
Most days were calm except the last day which wasn't to bad. Lachlan Althaus,

Hi Malcolm,
Hard to believe, but 6 weeks have passed since we took delivery of our
new ' Nova Diva'. Even with the limited amount of time that we have had
to get out on the water we have still managed to clock up around 11 hrs
of use. Most of the time the water has been calm until our last trip when
the water was quite rough. The ' Nova Diva ' has proven very capable of
providing a safe, comfortable ride in all these conditions. Not only does
it look great but it is exceptional when it comes to its turning abilities.
Friends that have come skiing with us are impressed with how well the
boat has been finished off. They like the colours and its sleek lines.
The combination of the 315hp PCM engine with the gearbox and the upgrade
to the 16 degree Acme Prop has proven very successful. We have found that
there is an enormous amount of torque and pull out of the water coupled
with an ability to still run over 50+ mph at top speed with 3 adults on
board. The boat is quite capable of further speeds but will have to wait
till the engine has had more time to run in. ( During testing the boat
was taken to around 55 mph for a very short period. ) What can I say,
a brilliant ski boat at a good price worth every penny and more. Shane

Hi Malcolm,
We took the new boat up to Tinaroo Dam on Friday and Sunday. All went
well with no problems and 6.5 hrs now on meter having performed the run
in as per the PCM manual. It performed and handled well. We had varying
conditions across the lake to test it in. Engine and prop set up and selection
performs really well with great pull out of the water and a bit over 53
mph top speed at the moment with 2 people and bimini top on board. I'll
hopefully put 4 skiers behind it next time to see how it goes but not
much accelerator is required to pull two skiers out at the moment. We
have had a lot of good comments so far as to the colour, finish and design
of the boat. On our second trip out there was not a breath of wind. I
hope you can use these photos. Mitchell Millett, Cairns - August 2007

Hi Guys,
The new web site looks great. Have attached some photos of our 2001 Meteor.
The 200 EFI Mercury and the High Five Prop give a great flat smooth wake
which is what us barefooters like. This boat was ordered through Ski-Wake
boats and we love it. I have fitted a custom High Pole and rear speedo
for the observer as shown in the photos. This boat has been used to train
the Womens Australian Barefoot Champion and the ACT Sub Junior boys champion
to mention just a few. With the high power to weight ratio we can tow
2 footers at over 80km/h trimmed in. Thanks and keep footn Mick Musson
